SAGA PROFESSIONAL STRONG BASE – base coat

SAGA Professional Strong Base is a professional base coat for strengthening natural nails. Its medium-fluid consistency and good self-levelling properties make application easier. The material is suitable both as a thin initial base layer and for modelling: correcting unevenness and shaping the nail with a separate structure layer. Depending on nail length, this layer may be up to 0.8–1 mm thick.

According to the manufacturer, Strong Base does not cause a burning sensation during lamp curing. For pedicures, use only as a thin base layer, without levelling.

When is Soft Base recommended as a base layer:

Application

  1. Apply a thin layer of Strong Base to the nail plate.

  2. Cure in a lamp.

  3. For modelling, add a second layer to correct unevenness and shape the nail’s surface. Ensure that the structure layer does not exceed the manufacturer’s permitted thickness of 0.8–1 mm.

  4. Cure again. For pedicures, omit the additional structure layer.

Curing

60 seconds per layer in a 48 W LED lamp. The packaging label specifies a UV curing time of 2 minutes.
