SAGA PROFESSIONAL SILK CAT – pearlescent cat eye gel polish

Silk Cat is a collection of magnetic gel polishes combining a cat eye effect with a pearlescent chrome sheen. A soft grey undertone is complemented by a coloured reflection that changes the manicure’s appearance with the light and viewing angle.

Its silky, smooth-flowing texture and good self-levelling properties make even application easier. The polish applies without streaks or patchiness and remains easy to control without flooding the cuticle or sidewalls.

One coat provides coverage, while two coats create a more intense colour. Applied over black gel polish, the shade appears darker and the cat eye effect becomes more pronounced. A magnet can be used to create a defined light band or a soft, diffused glow.

The chrome pigment is already incorporated into the gel polish, eliminating the need for separate chrome powder and an additional application step. It suits clients who prefer an elegant, understated manicure with multidimensional shimmer that comes to life in the light.

Application

  1. Prepare the nail plate and apply a suitable base coat. Dry according to its instructions.

  2. For a darker shade and a more intense effect, apply black gel polish if desired and dry according to its instructions.

  3. Apply Silk Cat in an even, thin layer, avoiding contact with the skin and cuticle.

  4. Use a cat eye magnet to create the desired effect in the wet layer. Hold the magnet close to the nail without touching the coating, then immediately dry in an LED lamp for 60 seconds.

  5. For a more intense colour, apply a second thin layer of Silk Cat. Shape the effect again with the magnet and dry in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. Work on one nail at a time and dry each colour layer separately.

  6. Finish with a top coat, following its application instructions and drying time.
