SAGA PROFESSIONAL PASTEL BUILDER GEL – pastel builder gel

Pastel Builder Gel is a professional modelling gel for strengthening natural nails, creating extensions and building nail architecture. Soft pastel shades provide colour during the building stage, making them suitable for nude manicures, French manicures and minimalist designs.

Its medium-thick consistency allows controlled distribution with a brush. The gel levels quickly, making it particularly suitable for technicians who work at a fast pace and prefer a faster-levelling material. These properties also make it a good choice for minimal-filing techniques: the more precisely the shape is sculpted with the brush, the less finishing work is needed afterwards.

The material is suitable for both natural nail overlays and extensions sculpted on forms. The pastel structure layer can serve as the manicure’s main colour without additional gel polish. Nail art or a colour coat can be added if desired. A base coat is required beneath the gel.

Application

  1. Prepare the nail plate according to the instructions for the system being used.

  2. Apply a suitable base coat and dry according to its instructions.

  3. Apply a thin layer of Pastel Builder Gel to the base-coated nail. Dry in an LED lamp for 60 seconds or a UV lamp for 2 minutes.

  4. For strengthening, build the required nail structure. For extensions, fit a nail form and sculpt the desired length, shape and architecture. Work on one nail at a time to maintain control of the fast-levelling material.

  5. Dry the sculpted layer in the lamp.

  6. If necessary, refine the shape and surface with a file, then remove the dust. For a minimal-filing technique, use the brush to create the smoothest possible surface before drying.

  7. Finish with a top coat, following its application instructions and drying time.

Drying time

the packaging label specifies 60 seconds in an LED lamp and 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
